Cake Stands

I've finally photo catalogued the majority of the stands & platters we have available for brides & grooms to rent to display our cupcakes & cakes.  We love searching for unique (especially vintage) display options.  Going "treasure" hunting is a regular affair in our family so the collections continually grow, but I really wanted to offer our clients a quick, easy reference of what styles we have on hand.  Below is a snippet.

strawberry lemon, chocolate peanut butter date & oreo chocoate mousse...

I'm working with a bride & groom that want cupcakes to pair with champagne & lemonade. Their wedding will have vibrant pops of red in the midst of soft pastel colors.  The below cupcake is an "experiment" for them~
Strawberry Lemon Chardonnay (or Champagne!)...Chardonnay cake, filled with strawberry lemon curd, topped with lemon frosting and a strawberry wedge that's rolled in sugared lemon zest.

The next cupcake was inspired by a photo that my friend, Jennifer Young, posted on Instagram of some date caramel ice cream.  Instagram provides such awesome visual inspiration and is such a fun way to connect with people through images (I'm completely addicted)!  I especially love when people post pics of yummy food.  If you're on Instagram, tell me you're "name" so I can follow you for more inspiration.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Date...Chocolate cake with a chocolate, brown sugar, date filling, topped with peanut butter frosting and a chocolate peanut butter "puddle".
Oreo Chocolate Mousse...Chocolate cake over an oreo crust, filled with chocolate mousse, topped with oreo chocolate frosting, oreo crumbs & chocolate sauce.

rosemary apple chardonnay...

Different & unique flavor combinations are what our regulars expect and we want to keep them happy :) We appreciate the push to constantly try new things.  So dear customers, if you try this one, will you let us know what you think?
Rosemary Apple Chardonnay...Chardonnay cake, with a spiced apple filling, topped with vanilla frosting & rosemary infused caramel.

Chocolate Caramel Butterscotch & Lavender Lemon Honey Cupcakes

 

The beginning of every week we plan out our flavors - sometimes it takes 5 minutes and sometimes it takes hours and sometimes it evolves into an intense discussion with strong options.  In the end, we challenge each other and reel oneanother in & hopefully provide our customers with flavors that are unique, interesting and appealing.  Here are two new flavors in this week menu...

Chocolate Caramel Butterscotch...chocoalte butterscotch cake, filled with house-made caramel, topped with butterscotch frosting, dipped in chocolate sauce and caramel. 

Lavender Lemon Honey...vanilla cake, filled with meyer lemon lavender curd, topped with lemon honey frosting & lavender sugar.
