Happy Anniversary, Alisa & Tim!  I've been thinking about you two all day and I probably will every 4th of July!  You are such wonderful, gracious & kind people.  We were so honored to be a part of your wedding celebration last year.

Opal

In being a small family business, the lines between play & work often overlap and intertwine.  We love what we do, we feel like we "do" all the time, so hopefully in Opal's eyes, it's all a ton of fun.  One of her most favorite parts of our "work" is going to photo shoots.  She gets to see real live princesses (brides/models), glorious flowers, & beautiful settings.  And after pictures are taken (& when permission is given!), she gets to play with or eats the props!   She's been captured by some truly amazing photographers while we were "working" and in honor of her fourth birthday yesterday, I thought I'd share a compilation of those photos.

Three new flavors this week~

Vanilla Rose Chardonnay...Chardonnay cake, filled with rose infused pastry cream, topped with vanilla sugar and rose scented sugar (colored pretty pink with a touch of raspberry)

Vanilla Malt Milkshake...Vanilla bean cake, filled with malt pudding, topped with vanilla malt frosting, ground malt balls & "fries"

Spiced Peaches & Cream...Vanilla cake, filled with orange spice black tea pastry cream, topped with fresh peach frosting & chopped peaches

Crowned Embellishments by Meg Fish

Everytime I look at Meg Fish's photograhs, I am overwhelmed by her talent & grace.  She is so incredible at what she does.  She captures the purity, sweetness and budding personalites of newborns in a way I've never seen before and her ability to document the love between mother an child always brings tears to my eyes.  I met Meg shortly after we opened Enjoy Cupcakes, we became friends and Opal & I had the privledge of being in front of her lens (I will cherish these photos forever!).  Meg just opened up an online shop selling delicate, tiny, hand crafted crowns and I wanted to share the unique, lovely creations!

I made Meg some cupcakes for a photoshoot she did for icing designs and just for fun I included one of our little 3" cakes.  I didn't even know about her new product line in the works, but it turned out that the dainty crowns are a perfect topper for the tiny cakes!
